Does God really care about each individual person?

Though He watches over the whole universe, He still has time to hear even a child’s first prayer. Whether saint or sinner, anyone who calls upon Him can find Him there. And even when He sees our failures and the wrong choices we make, He does not turn us away—He is still willing to forgive. His greatness never makes Him distant from us; it makes His personal care and mercy even more remarkable.
