This page explains Loud Voice Music Sdn Bhd’s (“Loud Voice”) privacy policy which includes the collection, use, protection and disclosure of information submitted by its users / subscribers (“Subscribers”).
This Privacy Policy is formulated in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“the Act”) to ensure that you are apprised of which information is stored, how and when it is used and whether it is shared with other parties (if applicable).
The following discloses and applies to our information gathering and dissemination practices for www.loudvoice.com (“Loud Voice Website”), the“LoudVoice” mobile application which is made available for download from the app stores (including but not limited to “Apple App Store” and “Google Play”) (“Loud Voice App”) and for the use of, or subscription to, or purchase of any products and/or services offered by Loud Voice (if relevant).
Kindly be informed that by choosing to register and subscribe to Loud Voice, you are consenting to sharing your Personal Data which may include but is not limited to name, postal address, date of birth, phone number, email address, gender , social network details, device specifications, usage and/or location information, demographic information, payment and/or financial information (“Personal Data”) and to the practices stated in this Privacy Policy.
Should Loud Voice ask for Personal Data by which an individual can be identified when using the Loud Voice Website and/or the LoudVoice app, rest assured that it will only be used for the purposes indicated in the request.
Loud Voice Music Sdn Bhd shall not be held liable for any information and/or content that has been revealed and/or abused at large and/or is already within public knowledge and for any risks and/or occurrences arising from the publication of the said information and contents.

Sources of Personal Data Gathered

We collect Personal Data and information about Subscribers through the Loud Voice Website and the Loud Voice App during the registration, subscription and payment process, and throughout the usage of the app. These information may be used by Loud Voice for the Purposes set out in Section 4 below or to enhance the contents of the Loud Voice Website or the Loud Voice App. Your Personal Data will not be shared with any other party unless specifically stated herein.
Our server also automatically collects some information about your preferences (including your internet protocol (“IP”) address) which is used to help administer the Loud Voice Website and diagnose problems with our server.

Data Protection and Security

We endeavor to use appropriate technology, including but not limited to encryption software, to safeguard data provided to us by you. We will strive to maintain reasonable security standards to prevent any unauthorized and/or unlawful access and to guard against accidental loss, destruction, damage, misuse and alteration of the information under our control.
Unfortunately, transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure and although we will do our best to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee the security of data during the transmission through the Loud Voice Website and the Loud Voice App.
You can also play a role in keeping your Personal Data safe and secure. A username and password will be essential for all Subscribers of the Loud Voice Website and Loud Voice App. We urge that you keep these confidential, use a strong password and change your password regularly, for your own safekeeping.

Purpose of Personal Data collected

  •  Personal Data which you have voluntarily provided to us may be processed and/or disclosed to our Service Providers (defined below) for the following purposes (“Purposes”):

  • To manage and verify your subscription;

  •  To manage, verify, process and complete transactions with you;

  •  To understand and analyse your preferences;

  •  To improve our services;

  •  To respond to your requests, feedbacks or enquiries;

  •  To send you updates pertaining to Loud Voice and/or its partners and/or its  advertisers;

  • For our credit control service and/or collection of debts due and owing to LoudVoice; and/or

  • To comply with any regulatory, statutory or legal obligation imposed on us by any relevant authority

For the avoidance of doubt, Personal Data that is linked to your personal identity such as name and postal address will not be shared with any third party including Service Providers.
“Service Providers” in this Privacy Policy refers to third party service providers who assist in the smooth running of the Loud Voice Website and the LoudVoiceApp (eg: website operation and development, payment processing, data analysis, fraud detection, identity verification, etc.) and may which include persons or entities which may be involved in processing the Personal Data on our behalf. Service Providers, and their selected staff, are only allowed to access and use your Personal Data to carry out the specific requested tasks, based on our instructions and are required to keep your Personal Data confidential and secure.
“Processing” includes but is not limited to obtaining, recording, holding or using the Personal Data in the provision of services by the respective Service Providers to us.

Use and Disclosure

We are responsible for the Personal Data under our control and will keep confidential such Personal Data pursuant to any applicable law that may be in force at the applicable time. Your Personal Data is accessible and will be processed by our authorized staff or agents, on a need-to-know basis.
We also wish to inform you that we may disclose your Personal Data to our Service Providers for the Purposes stated in Section 4 above.
Please note however, that these protections do not apply to information that you have opted to share on public platforms such as third party social networks.

Storage, Retention and/or Transfer of Personal Data

Your Personal Data will be stored in servers located globally with reasonable security measures and standards in place. We will not store a hard copy of your Personal Data.
In accordance with the applicable laws, all Personal Data supplied by you will be retained by us for as long as necessary for the Purposes stated in Section 4 above and/or as required to comply with any applicable regulatory, statutory or legal requirements or for our legitimate and business purposes.
By choosing to register as a Subscriber of the LoudVoice Website or the LoudVoice App, kindly be informed that you are consenting to the transfer of your Personal Data to our Service Providers (where necessary) who maybe located/based within or outside Malaysia whereupon your Personal Data may then be subject to privacy laws that are applicable there.

Cookies

 The Loud Voice Website and Loud Voice App generates cookies which are collected by the server site. This is to enable us to:

  •  Recognize you on your next visit and provide you with a customized experience;

  •  Facilitate administration and navigation;

  •  Understand and improve our services; and

  •  Determine and/or improve the advertising shown to you.

Your browser may be configured to accept cookies automatically but you can adjust your cookie preferences or disable this function if you so wish. However, disabling browser may affect the operations of the Loud Voice Website or the Loud Voice App.

Links

The Loud Voice Website and Loud Voice App may display links to external third party websites which may have different third party privacy policies and practices, for which Loud Voice is not responsible. By clicking on the said links, you acknowledge and understand that you are leaving the Loud Voice Website or the Loud Voice App and any personal data that you provide will not be covered by this Policy. We recommend that you read and understand the privacy statements of those respective websites.
This Privacy Policy only applies to the Loud Voice Website and the Loud Voice App.
Loud Voice has formed collaborations with content creators / advertisers / business partners. If any business partners or advertisers require access to your Personal Data or information which you have input in our database, this fact will be disclosed to you by email. Subscribers who do not wish for their information to be shared with any third party may opt out.

Right of Access and Correction

You have the right to request access to your Personal Data and if required, correction of your Personal Data. You may at any time:
(a) request access to your Personal Data in our records to check and verify your Personal Data;
(b) request that we correct and update any of your Personal Data in our records if it is inaccurate, incomplete, misleading or becomes out-of-date;
(c) request to limit or cease the processing of your Personal Data all together;
(d) raise any concerns, enquiries or complaints in respect of the processing of your Personal Data;
(e) request for explanation on the policies and procedures in respect of your Personal Data provided to us;

Changes to Privacy Policy

Loud Voice reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time without prior notice to the Subscribers. Should there be any changes to this Privacy Policy, it will be published on this site. Hence, Subscribers are encouraged to visit this page regularly to stay abreast of any changes.
In the future, we may develop new or offer additional services. If the introduction of these new or additional services results in any material changes to the way we collect or process your Personal Data, we will provide you with more information or additional terms or policies.

Languages

This Privacy Policy is issued in the English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese languages.
In the event of a conflict between the various versions, the English version shall, at all times, prevail.
